•  The design of this Mazda MX-5 convertible top

• Your new Mazda MX-5 convertible top from Verdeckshop is made from high-quality, three-layer fabric.
• This convertible top is a one-piece design. The design is similar to that of the Mazda MX-5 NC.
• Unlike the original two-piece MX5 NA, there is no zip at the rear above the window.
• Your new Mazda MX5 NA and MX5 NB convertible top with a film window features integrated side rain gutters above the doors, just like the original Mazda MX5 NC convertible top.
• These are essentially just drip guards to prevent rainwater from dripping onto your clothes when you get into the vehicle.

•    The seams

• The longitudinal seams of the top on our Mazda MX5 convertible top are fixed without a topstitch, meaning they are not visible from the outside (as with the original MX5 plastic top).
• These seams on the right and left, which run from front to back, are double-stitched and additionally heat-sealed.
• Thanks to this triple-layered construction, no stitched seam is visible from the outside. (as per the original)

•    The shape

• So simple... simply elegant.
• Here you will find an easy-to-fit MX-5 soft top with a plastic window for the Mazda MX-5 NA and Mazda MX-5 NB.
• The folding mechanism of this MX-5 soft top is the same as that of the original Mazda NC soft top.
• The fit of your new soft top from us is optimised for a flat surface.
• The cut and the soft top material have been specially selected and optimised to ensure the soft top remains taut over the long term, so that even after prolonged daily use at high speeds, wind noise is kept to a minimum.
• Installing your new Mazda MX-5 soft top is a straightforward process, as all the positive experience gained from our installation work has been incorporated into the production process to this day.
• The fit of our convertible tops has been perfected through years of fitting in our workshop and at our customers’ premises.

•   Scope of delivery

• You will receive the outer convertible top with integrated plastic windows, featuring a piping that runs all the way round the window.
• All fixings are attached to your new convertible top so that you can fit the top to your existing frame.
• No gluing is required.
• The water drainage channel at the rear of your convertible top is reused.
• Should this channel be leaking, you can find a replacement for this water drainage channel in our shop.
• Please check that the side tension cables in the top, above the door windows of your Mazda MX-5, are not torn. You can also find these in the top shop.
